Cameron was only 27 when he was sadly taken from us. June 9th 2006 was one of the hottest days of the year and as usual family and friends got together and went down to the dam in Newfield for a bbq and a swim, it was such a beautiful day, but no one was to know it was going to end so tragic. While his fiancee Joy and his two sons Cameron and Kyle along with other friends and family sat around the river side Cameron and his best mate Paddy decided to go for a swim, cameron was climbing a tree on a rocky outcrop when a branch snapped and he slipped and fell into the water, so many people tried to reach him but unfortunatly it wasnt to be. Cameron was such a big part of our family and its unbearable to think that we will never be able to make any more memories. He was such a lads lad he loved to be in the pub watching the football having a laugh with all his mates, or just generally socialing, but when it came down to it his family was his life and he was always there for anyone who needed him. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by so many but we all know he will be looking down on us making sure we are all safe, even though the pain of loosing him will never stop we are so blessed to have had the chance to have those 27 yrs with him and we know we will have them again some day. Its that time of the year, when everyone is sad
we miss you so much, that it makes us feel bad
we know your looking down on us making sure we are ok
but there is still so many things that we would like to say
you ment the world to everyone i know
it was just so sad that you had to go
they say that god only takes the best
you were certainly that, but we still wont rest
you'l always be in our hearts till we meet again
no doubt u'l be waiting for us, to stop the pain
to everyone around, you were a good mate
and we'l all see you again standing at the gate
please look after our nan as we all know you will
when you were both took from us our time stood still
